CANDIDATE BIOs

Cristina Cerchio – Candidate for SFMA Board President
My name is Cristina Cerchio, and I’m honored to be running for President of the SFMA. I’m a proud mother of three—one currently serving in the Marines, and two actively involved in the high school and middle school music programs.
For the past four years, I’ve been dedicated to supporting our music community through chaperoning, volunteering at events, and serving on the RAM Crew. These experiences have deepened my appreciation for the students, families, and staff who make this program so special, and they’ve fueled my passion to help it grow and thrive.
Professionally, I bring over 20 years of leadership experience from Wegmans, where I held multiple roles and played a key part in opening four new store locations. My expertise includes team development, staff management, scheduling, budgeting, organizing community events, and cultivating strong, collaborative relationships.
More recently, I’ve continued my leadership journey at the Phoenixville YMCA, a nonprofit organization focused on strengthening families and communities. In my role there, I’ve led teams, enhanced member experiences, and planned impactful events and fundraisers that serve local youth and families.
I am deeply committed to supporting our music students and fostering a positive, inclusive environment for all families. I would be truly honored to serve as your next SFMA President and continue building a strong foundation for the future of our music program.

Brynn Lange - Candidate for SFMA Board Secretary

My name is Brynn Lange, and I am excited to be running for the position of Secretary on the SFMA Executive Board for the 2025-2027 term.  I am the proud parent of two boys, both of whom have been actively involved in multiple ensembles within SF's music program over the past eight years.  In fact, Spring-Ford's music program was a main reason we decided to move to the district in 2018!

For the past four years, I have been active in SFMA volunteering my time chaperoning, participating in Ram Crew, concessions, and uniforms.  For the past two years I have been deeply involved in SFMA's merchandise committee, leading it for the 2024-2025 school year.  I am willing to jump in and help wherever it is needed to insure the programs and activities SFMA supports are successful and the students have the best experience possible.  By engaging in so many different areas within SFMA, I have a strong understanding of its mission and objective, and the commitment and resources needed from our volunteers to ensure a positive and engaging program for our students.

Outside of SFMA, professionally my expertise is in Human Resources, with experience in Recruiting, general HR, as a HR Business Partner, and Talent Management.  My strengths include strong communication skills, organizational, project management, operations, leadership development, program development and implementation, and leading growing dynamic teams.

As Secretary, I am committed to leveraging my experience, both professionally and through my time within SFMA, to enhance the communication and operations to our members and drive innovative new ideas for our program.  I am passionate about the diverse opportunities, experiences, and learning that SF's music program provides to our students.  I am committed to continuing to build a thriving program for our current students, as well as future families looking for a home within our community.
