Trip Details

Date: Friday, May 16, 2025

Who: Middle School Band, Chorus, and Orchestra music students as well as parents wishing to chaperone

What: Adjudicated performance, visit to local attraction, and award ceremony

Where: Hershey Park, Hershey, PA

Cost: $150 per student/chaperone ($25 is non-refundable, no refund if canceled within 30 days of trip)

Payment and Permission Forms Due: Friday, February 7th, 2025

Middle School - Music in the Parks 2025

Trip cost covers transportation, festival fees, and park admission.

 

Students must wear a Spring-Ford Middle School Music t-shirt.  All 7th grade students and 8th grade students new to music must purchast a shirt. Band students may wear their Middle School Marching Unit t-shirts.  If a student does not have a t-shirt, one can be purchased in the apparel section below the registration boxes. Shirt orders due NO LATER than March 15th.​

Cancellation Policy​​

  • More than 30 days notice before the trip - full refund (minus the $25 that is non-refundable)

  • Less than 30 days notice before the trip - NO REFUND

  • Students who are unable to go on the trip due to disciplinary action, academic probation, or medical condition are under the same refund guidelines as listed above

Registration​​

  • Fill out the required Student Registration form below for your student. 

  • If chaperoning, you must also fill out the the Chaperone registration form below for yourself. Chaperones MUST full clearances on file with the district office to attend. This information WILL BE CHECKED before the trip. See here for more information on clearances required and how to obtain / submit them.

  • You must print, fill out and return the permission slip NO LATER than February 7, 2025.

  • You must complete the checkout process to finish registration.

    • To submit payment with credit/debit, follow the instructions to check out. Note: you do not need a PayPal account to complete the transaction. Just fill in your customer info to checkout as a guest.

    • If you are sending cash or check (made payable to SFMA) in with your student, you must fill in your customer info, select Continue, and select the Offline Payment button at checkout. Have your student give their payment to their director. â€‹â€‹â€‹â€‹â€‹â€‹â€‹â€‹â€‹â€‹â€‹â€‹â€‹

    • You can use your fundraising points to pay for this trip! To check your student's balance, contact assistant.treasurer@springfordmusic.org. To use points, follow the steps for sending cash or check for the checkout process to register your student and submit the SPA withdrawal form found here  to your student's director.

Apparel​​

Need a shirt? We've got you covered! Select your student's ensemble and size during checkout. Shirts will be given to the directors to be handed out prior to the trip. Parents may also order shirts for themselves, if desired.
