Atlantic Coast Grand Champions
Spring-Ford Golden Ram Marching Band
On November 6th, 2011 the Spring-Ford Golden Ram Marching Band showed the Tournament of Bands (TOB) member schools just what this year's production “The Art of War” was all about. The band received a score of 97.25, out of a possible 100, and was presented special awards for High Visual (marching performance and design), High Music (for performance and design), High Brass Award, and the band's first ever High Color Guard Award at the ACC Championship event. The Golden Ram's brought home its “Fifth” Tournament of Band Group IV Atlantic Coast Championship (ACC) in the last Six (6) years.
This has been an historic season for the Golden Ram Marching Band capturing its Sixth (6th) TOB Southeastern PA Region Group IV Championship and its Fifth (5th) TOB Atlantic Coast Championship. These accomplishments have earned Spring-Ford a place in the Tournament of Bands history books, being only the Third Group IV Band in the history of the Association to ever win Five Grand Championships. Spring-Ford is also the only band from the Southeastern PA Region, in any group, to win Five ACC Grand Championship Titles! This year's band proved to all present in Hershey, PA on Sunday, what hard work, dedication, and pride in what you are working to achieve, can bring you in return.
The Communities that make up the Spring-Ford Area School District, the Administers, Music Educators and Families can all take great pride in the accomplishments of the students who make up the Spring-Ford HS Marching Band. The Golden Ram Band represents the Spring-Ford Area with “Class” and “Pride” wherever they perform.
